This is the Robertinum building also located at the campus in the heart of the city. Nearby is also the student cafeteria Tulpe, which is build in Art Deco style.
Besides the university there is a university of applied sciences in the town Merseburg, which is just some kilometers away from Halle. There the focus is on chemistry, engine construction, and social science.
